Unsanitised: Blended Learning and Back to School (Part 1)

The government released their plan for returning to school, which could have been summed up with one emoji – the fingers crossed one. Looking at all the variables, while we’re all going to go back to school, I can’t see us staying there for that long. With that in mind, I’m looking at what teachers and school leaders might consider when we return to school. In this first part, I’m going to look at:

  • why I don’t think we’ll be in school for too long
  • what blended learning actually is
  • what apps schools should start using immediately to prepare for closures

Over the following episodes, I’m going to look at various aspects of the possible future and how they’ll affect you as an educator, staff member, parent, guardian, caregiver or anyone who cares about children in primary schools.
