I created this very simple game in Scratch to consolidate children’s adding skills. Your job is to score a goal by answering the question correctly. Get it right and you score, get it wrong and you miss! It couldn’t really be much easier. For those of you interested in how the game was created using Scratch, feel free to download the code and adapt it to your needs. How about trying a multiplication version of the game? Click on the screenshot below to play the game and check underneath for the Scratch tools used.
There are 3 main sprites in this game: the two footballers and the ball. The program uses a variable and asks the user to answer a question to two random numbers added. If the user is correct, the ball is set to glide into the goal or else the ball glides wide.
