Redesign of Promethean Planet

Promethean has today unveiled a new look Promethean Planet (www.PrometheanPlanet.com) to provide members with a faster, easier and more enhanced user experience.  Available free in 11 languages, this next generation of Planet aims to provide its 600,000 plus teaching members with new functional enhancements. These include a one-click mega-menu and enhanced resource search and filtering, making it quicker to search for and access over 20,000 free resources.

The new site enables users to personalise their experience by customising their community homepage with their favourite content and resources, exchange private messages from other members and create bookmarked quick links to any Planet page. In addition, Planet’s free online storage means each member can save and store up to 1GB of resources securely in their free, personal storage space.

Promethean Planet also has private group functionality and has been designed to meet the needs of educator groups, schools, districts and education authorities. Planet members can apply to set up a private group that includes private forum, blog and wiki functionality as well as the ability to file-share within the private group environment.  Expect a review of Promethean Planet from Anseo.net in the coming weeks.
