Hi Simon I would really like to attend the Cork IWB course in Monkstown, but I am not a 2nd level teacher – is there any way I can do this do you think? I am about to start the DIT applied e-learning MSc, and I lecture in communications skills for new media at UCC.

Probably a good idea is to contact the Cork Ed Centre and see if there’s any places left. IWB courses tend to be booked out fairly quickly. Also the courses are generally aimed at primary level which may not suit you.

It’s full since the first day it was announced which says more about the lack of smartboard courses than the quality of our course! You would have thought the amount of IT courses would have jumped to meet the demand after everyone’s recent spending spree or perhaps it’s just a west cork thing…
