I’ve been mostly thinking about Special Education since I wrote to you the last time. As some of you know, my school was cut 15 hours per week of SET Allocations despite no real change to our circumstances. If you ask any principal who has been in the job longer than a decade about the NCSE, you are likely to be met with a long rant about its demise. I have long argued it needs to be scrapped and built up again from scratch. If you don’t know what happens when you need more resources, here’s my account of my appeal.
